At least three fires broke out in different locations of Delhi on Thursday. No casualties were, however, reported from any of the fires.
The first fire was reported from a vegetable market in the Keshopur area in west Delhi at 10.40 am. "At least 15 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, which were brought under control at around 11.20 am, fire officials said.
The second incident was reported from a footwear showroom on the first floor of a building in Nangloi area of west Delhi.
Fire officials said 22 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire which was caused due to an electrical short-circuit in an air-cooler. The fire was brought under control at 1.50 pm.
And the third incident was reported from Samalkha, also in west Delhi area, were 20 fire tenders battled the blaze till late in the afternoon. The fire began at around 1.25 pm.
