Thousands of photos taken by Apollo astronauts on moon missions are now online. They can be accessed HERE.
More than 8400 photos taken by astronauts on their missions to the moon have been uploaded to NASA’s Flickr account. The incredible stockpile includes nearly every photo taken my astronauts during the missions.
The photos have been uploaded at 1800 dpi resolution and have been sorted by the camera roll they came from, so fans can feel like they were there.
According to the NASA archivists the pictures are unprocessed, taken from original NASA photo scans shot with Hasselblad cameras, with some of them comparable to the washed-out images you might come across while flipping through an old photo album.
Rediff.com takes a look at some of these breathtaking images of and mankind's arduous journey to our sole satellite.
