Prayers for Departed Souls

Pitru Paksha is a 16-day Hindu ritual to pay homage to souls who have departed for their heavenly abode.

This year, the ritual started on September 21 and ended on October 6.

It is believed paying homage to departed souls during Pitru Paksha helps them attain Moksha.
