Advocate Sirajin Basha, whose private complaint landed Yeddyurappa in jail, filed the petition praying for cancellation of bail granted by the Lokayukta court to two sons and the son-in-law of the former chief minister.
Basha in his application has submitted that Yeddyurappa's sons -- B Y Raghavendra, Lok Sabha member, B Y Vijendra and son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar and Bharatiya Janata Party member of Legislative Assembly Hemachandra Sagar, faced similar allegations as Yeddyurappa, who was denied bail and sent to judicial custody till October 22 by a local court.
The petition has been listed for hearing on Thursday before Justice B V Pinto, who will also take up the bail plea by Yeddyurappa.
While refusing bail to Yeddyurappa and former minister S N Krishnaiah Setty, another accused in the case relating to alleged illegal denotification of lands, the Lokayukta court on October 15 granted bail to 14 other accused, including members of the former chief minister's family.
Setty also moved his bail application before the court on Wednesday. Justice B V Pinto adjourned the hearing on it till Thursday.
