Mehbooba Mufti was on Thursday elected the president of Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party for a second consecutive term.
PDP General Secretary Tariq Hamid Qarra proposed her name for the post of party president, which was seconded by the entire electoral college of the party at its organisational polls in Srinagar.
Mehbooba, who is a Sabha member from Anantnag parliamentary constituency, thanked the party for expressing faith in her by electing her for a second term.
