Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar, who underwent an operation for a swelling in his left jaw, has been discharged from the hospital.
Pawar, who was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital last week, was discharged late on Thursday night, hospital sources said.
Pawar is now at his Silver Oak residence in south Mumbai and doctors have advised him rest, the sources said.
According to party sources, he would resume campaigning from April 15.
