Sharad Pawar to undergo surgery

Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar will be undergoing a surgery in his mouth at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai this week. The minister will admitted in the hospital on Tuesday for a period of 10 days for the surgery, said sources.

Pawar, who has been facing rough days after his links with an IPL team was revealed by a newspaper, confirmed that he would be in hospital from Tuesday.

Hospital authorities and Pawar did not elaborate on the surgery.

Pawar, who will be the International Cricket Council president in a month's time, had underwent a similar surgery a few years ago.
