“If the situation did not improve or violence against Bihari migrants continues in Manipur, forcibly pull out Manipuri passengers from trains running through Bihar and send them back to their state,” he said.
Pappu added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should intervene to check and control violence against Bihari migrants in Manipur.
“If Modi does not intervene, my party would have no option but to act against Manipuri in protest,” he said.
Pappu also targetted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that both he and Modi were responsible for what is happening in Manipur. “Modi and Nitish should talk to Manipur government immediately to stop violence against Bihari migrants,” he said.
Interestingly, Pappu is known for his closeness to Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah and other top BJP leaders in Bihar and outside ahead of the upcoming state assembly polls.

Lalu has also alleged that the BJP is funding Pappu’s campaign against the grand alliance of RJD, JD-U and the Congress for the benefit of the the saffron party in the polls.
Pappu is MP from Madhepura parliamentary constituency and his wife Ranjit Ranjan is a Congress MP from Supaul in Bihar.
Pappu is a five-time MP. He won thrice from Purnia -- in 1991, 1996 and 1999 and won the Madhepura by-polls in 2004 and in 2014.
