Pakistan does not scare us, it worries us, Home Minister P Chidambaram said referring to the instability in the neighbouring country.
"Pakistan doesn't scare us. Pakistan worries us. We want a stable government in Pakistan. There is considerable instability in Pakistan," he said in an interview to Al-Jazeera news channel.
He said India wants Pakistan to behave like a responsible nation.
"Their behaviour does not inspire confidence. It doesn't scare us, it worries us," Chidambaram said.
The Home Minister was asked whether he shared the feelings of an aide to US President Barack Obama, who had said the he was scared of Pakistan.
