Pakistan security officials arrested five suspected Tajik militants soon after they crossed the border from Iran in Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan, sources said on Monday.
The militants, said to have links with a radical group in Tajikistan, were caught on Sunday by Pakistan's border security forces, officials said.
The officials recovered fake Afghani identity cards, some documents and offensive literature from them during the interrogation, they said.
Pakistan's security forces, in recent days, have also arrested three Germans, two Kyrghyzstanis and two Turks all suspected militants involved in terrorist activities.
Pakistan also scored a major victory in March when it managed to arrest the high profile Taliban defense minister, Obaidullah Akhund from a hotel in Quetta, the capital city of Balchistan.
Akhund had a million dollar reward on his head and was functioning as a commander in southern Afghanistan.
Shortly after his arrest the hotel from where he was picked was bombed.
