India on Thursday said it was for Pakistan to make up its mind whether it wanted to have a dialogue with it, indicating that mixed signals were coming from that country on the issue.

On India's part, government sources said it was ready to resume the dialogue process though it would like to see some progress by Pakistan on issues concerning terrorism and perpetrators of the Mumbai terror attacks being brought to some form of justice.

The sources indicated that mixed signals were coming from Pakistan over the issue of resuming the dialogue process with some even speculating whether there will be any outcome at all.

Pakistan is not clear at all on the resumption of dialogue, the sources said, adding Islamabad must make up its mind.

The sources said it was not possible to predict the behaviour of Pakistan over their approach to the dialogue process.

About Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's visit to India, the sources said he is welcome to come to India anytime and the invitation extended to him by his counterpart S M Krishna in July still stands.

Reports had earlier said that Qureshi will visit India in November or December. Both Krishna and Qureshi had met in Islamabad in July, but no progress was made during the meeting.
