Oscar Fernandes receives Nelson Mandela award

Senior Congress leader Oscar Fernandes received the prestigious Nelson Mandela Award from the International Foundation of Minority Empowerment at the United Nation Church on Saturday.

Fernandes was nominated for the award for his efforts to promote minority rights. He received the award from prominent civil rights activist Dr Charles Steele Jr.
