The Himachal Congress on Wednesday said party chief Sonia Gandhi will only decide the name of the chief ministerial candidate.
"The decision regarding the chief ministerial candidate in Himachal Pradesh will be taken only by Sonia Gandhi after the state elections, due this year-end," senior Congress leader G S Bali said in Dharamsala.
Congress will hold a rally on Thursday, in which union minister Anand Sharma and Virbhadra Singh will also take part, he said.
