National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon on Thursday will represent India in the meeting of high representatives of national security of the BRICS nations in New Delhi, a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs said on Wednesday.
The meeting will be attended by the national security advisors of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
The meeting promises to be a significant one, keeping in mind the fact that the five major nations will be discussing their national security scenarios without the involvement of the United States of America.
