Now you can book online your entry tickets to the Taj Mahal in Agra and Humayun’s Tomb in the national capital.
The-ticketing facility, a collaboration between the Archaeological Survey of India and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, for the two ASI-maintained monuments was launched by Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma.
Detailing about the salient features of the portal, officials said visitors can book
their tickets online under three categories. While the entry fee to the Taj for Indians is Rs 20, it is Rs 510 for other SAARC countries' citizens and Rs 750 for other foreign visitors to Taj Mahal.
As far as the Humayun's Tomb is concerned, the entry fee is Rs.10 for Indians besides SAARC citizens and Rs 250 for other foreigners. Entry for children, who are under 15 years, is free in both the monuments.
For the convenience of tourists visiting the Taj Mahal, an option of choosing their time of visit is also made available.
