Apparently embarrassed by a Lashkar-e-Tayaiba terror suspect's alleged links with Abdul Naseer Madani-led Peoples Democratic Party, Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said on Wednesday that the Communist Party of India-Marxist, which had "cooperation" with it in Lok Sabha polls, will not have any truck with such outfits in future.
"The CPI-M has come to the conclusion during its post Lok Sabha review meeting that the co-operation it had with PDP should have been avoided," Achuthanandan said.
Achuthanandan said his party was of the view that it should not have any ties with outfits like PDP in future. "I am giving my opinion on the matter," he said when pointed out that CPI-M State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan had not ruled out completely any ties with PDP in future.
