Categorically ruling out the possibility of a merger with any other party at any point, YSR Congress on Saturday dared the opposition Telugu Desam Party to move a No Confidence Motion in the assembly against the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a press conference, party spokespersons Bajireddy Goverdhan, Vasireddy Padma, and Rehman refuted the "politically-inspired media propaganda" that YSR Congress would merge with the Congress.
Reiterating the party line that TDP was in collusion with the Congress, the YSRC leaders asked the main opposition party to table No Confidence Motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government.
"Let TDP introduce a No Confidence Motion on September 17 when the Monsoon Session starts, and you will know what we will do," they said.
