Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Tuesday said that his party will form the next government in Bihar. Shah launched the assembly poll campaign in Patna at the party's booth-level workers' rally.

Shah also targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his ally Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, saying that whether they opt for a grand alliance or a grand merger, BJP will form the government in the state.

Shah accused Nitish Kumar of trying to bring in a ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar. “Nitish Kumar or Rabri Devi won’t develop Bihar. Only a BJP-led government can develop Bihar,” he said.

Shah appealed to the 90 lakh BJP members in the state to reach out to each and every household in the rural to urban areas.

“Opposition parties are creating confusion and spreading misinformation about the government’s land bill. I assure people that not an inch of land would be handed over to corporate houses. Lands will be utilised for the development of rural people and national development,” Shah said.
