The Goa police chargesheeted a 25-year-old Nigerian tourist for allegedly raping an Australian woman during her stay in Goa last month. The Crime Branch, which investigated the case, filed the chargesheet in a trial court within 15 days of the incident.
The Police have also requested the court to expedite the hearing as the victim is still in the state and can remain present for deposition before the court during the trial.
