Naval guns located on the Mumbai harbour will carry out live ammunition firing practice on October 14, a defence spokesperson said on Monday.
The practice will be between 9.30 am and 1 pm at the landmarks Middle Ground, Oyster Rock and Colaba Point.
The danger areas for Middle Ground and Oyster Rock firing is the seaward area extending from east of Middle Ground to south of Oyster Rock up to a distance of 12 km.
The danger areas for Colaba Point firing is seaward areas extending from south west of Colaba Point to north west of Colaba up to a distance of 22 km.
All mariners, ships, boats and craft are advised to keep clear of the danger areas during the timings promulgated for the firing, the spokesperson said.
