Kasab's lawyer not paid till date
Kasab is currently reading Mohammad Bin Qasim and Sitara Jo Toot Gaya . The former is a novel written by Nassem Hijazi based on the life of Mohammad Bin Qasim, the Arab whose invasion of Sindh in 712 marked the beginning of the Islamic era in South Asia.
Other books on Kasab's reading list include a book on modern and traditional science titled Tib-e-Nabvi Aur Jadeed Science and Tilasmi Kadah, a book which deals with magic and magicians.
Inside court room and out, it's all about Kasab
These books were obtained by his lawyer Abbas Kazmi on Monday who presented them to the jail authorities, after receiving permission from the special court where Kasab, the only terrorist captured alive in the 26/11 attacks, faces trial for committing over 160 murders.
Kasab, who claims he has only studied up to primary school, has been reading books in his specially constructed cell in the jail, sources said.
The killer discovered these books through a book of jokes and an Urdu digest given to him by his lawyer earlier, the sources added.
