A day after the serial train blasts, Mumbai has been caught up in rumours of more blasts in Dahisar-Borivli East in the western suburbs, in Chembur in the eastern suburbs and elsewhere.
When contacted, the police control room dismissed these reports as fictitious, and said they have checked out the calls and found the reports to be untrue.
Rumours about any strife in Parel have also been refuted by the police.
