A team from the Mumbai police's Anti-Terrorism Squad interrogated four people, including the wife of Mohammed Kamal Ansari, one of the nine accused in the Mumbai train blasts, in Bihar's Madhubani district.
A police source in Madhubani said on Wednesday that an ATS team is in Madhubani to collect more information about Kamal and his network.
"The ATS team interrogated four people, including his wife and a chief of the Basopatti panchayat to collect information about Kamal's activities," the police told rediff.com.
According to sources, ATS and IB officials have been investigating the relations Kamal had with over a dozen people in Madhubani district on the directive of the union home ministry.
Kamal, during his narco-analysis test at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Bangalore last month, revealed the names of some people.
The ATS team also collected records of calls made from Kamal's residence telephone from Jainagar telephone exchange on Tuesday.
