A biker was injured when a portion of an under-construction flyover in Lalbaug in central Mumbai collapsed on Tuesday evening, fire officials said.
"A small portion of the under-construction Lalbaug flyover opposite Bharat Mata cinema in Parel collapsed at 6.30 pm," they said.
Thirty-one-year-old
Prakash Podar, who was on a bike, injured his right leg. "Prakash suffered a minor injury on his right leg and has been admitted to King Edward Memorial Hospital," the officials said.
Four cars were also damaged due to the collapse, they added. Two fire engines and two ambulances were rushed to the spot.
