A minor fire broke out on the 11th floor of Mittal Court building in the central business district of Nariman Point in south Mumbai.
Chief Fire Officer Amarjeet Singh Jhandwal said the fire most probably broke out in an electrical duct. A team would on Wednesday investigate the exact cause, he added.
More than 400 people were in the building when the fire broke out, he said, but everyone was eventually brought out safely.
