Should music be banned in cars?

Next time you are behind the wheel listening to your favourite track on the car stereo, you may be in for trouble. More so, if you are driving on Mumbai roads.

Mumbai traffic police has imposed a ban on listening to music in moving vehicles. If you are caught, be ready to shell out a hefty fine.

The logic -- Growing number of car-accidents involving youths returning from late-night parties on week-ends with car-stereos running at full volume.

According to the traffic cops, listening to music distracts the driver.
