Another World is Possible. So says the World Social Forum, 2004. The 100,000 plus participants who have landed in Mumbai from all over the world are united by their fight against one amorphous enemy -- globalisation.
But is something actually wrong with the world that we live in? Are the new-fangled goods, cars, cell phones, and toys produced by big corporations making us slaves? Are big companies dictating our lives? Or is it the fanciful imagination of a few?
