No troops for Iraq: will it hit ties with US?

After more than a month of deliberations, India has finally refused to accede to the US request to send troops to Iraq.

Though both sides claim this refusal will not affect bilateral ties, the decision may come as a blow to the US, which is struggling to maintain its hold on Iraq.
