The month-long monsoon session of Parliament will begin on August 8, it was announced in New Delhi on Thursday.
"The 11th Session of 15th Lok Sabha will commence on Wednesday, the 8th August, 2012. Subject to exigencies of government business, the session is likely to conclude on Friday, the 7th September, 2012," a Lok Sabha Secretariat statement said.
The President has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet on August 8 and the session is scheduled to conclude on September 7, a Rajya Sabha Secretariat statement said.
