Two-time Member of Parliament from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor arrived in New York on Thursday to add the Congress party’s views to the ongoing high-decibel media coverage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's United States trip.

Tharoor, who checked into Mariott hotel at 6th avenue, said he would be available to all TV news channels to give his views if and when the need arises.

A former senior executive of the United Nations, Tharoor will add information and perception in right dose and also fill in the gap by putting forward the Congress party’s views at the Modi show.

Prime Minister Modi will give his first-ever speech at the UNGC on Friday. He will be a part of the general debate session.
