Independent member of Legislative Assembly Jyoti Rashmi today again went on a dharna in the well of the Bihar assembly to protest an first information report against her husband and former legislator Pradeep Joshi after she had been suspended for similar conduct earlier.
Rashmi went to the well with posters as soon as the question hour began in the House to protest lodging of an FIR against her husband for illegal mining in Rohtas district.
Demanding a CBI probe into the illegal mining in the district she began raising slogans.
Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary disapproved of the conduct of the MLA and had the posters removed by a woman marshal. The MLA was asked by the speaker not to sit in the well as it was a breach of parliamentary traditions, but she did not relent.
The Speaker had on March two suspended the legislator for five days from the House for similar conduct.
