Militants attack army convoy in Kashmir

Militants ambushed a convoy of the Indian Army in Kupwara, Kashmir on Saturday morning.

Militants opened fire at the convoy near Dragmulla village of Kupwara district, said a senior police officer.

One army trooper was injured in the attack and he has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The area has been cordoned off and security personnel have launched searches to flush out militants.
