MiG-27 wreckage found

The wreckage of the MiG-27 aircraft that went missing on May 19 after taking off from Hashimara airbase in West Bengal, was on Friday found 18km northeast of Bagdogra airbase.

An Indian Air Force helicopter located the wreckage but the fate of the pilot, Squadron Leader V Sinha, was not known, IAF sources said in New Delhi.
