A 17-year-old mentally-challenged teenaged girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour at Machanayakanahalli here, police said.
Prakash, a lorry driver, was arrested today, DySP R Mallesh said.
Prakash allegedly raped the girl yesterday after taking her out of the house, Mallesh said.
A case was registered after the victim's relatives lodged a complaint.
Incidents of rape have been reported in Karnataka over the past few days amid continuing national outrage against sexual attacks on women.
