Dalip Sinha is new MEA spokesman

India's Deputy High Commissioner in Dhaka Dalip Sinha will be the next Foreign Office spokesman.

A 1978 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, Sinha is expected to take charge shortly from Navtej Sarna who will move as Joint Secretary (Disarmament) in the External Affairs Ministry, official sources said on Tuesday.

In other changes, Sujata Mehta, joint secretary looking after the US desk, will move to the Prime Minister's Office and India's Ambassador in Prague, S Jaishanker, will come in her place.
