Four policemen were reportedly killed when a group of Maoists attacked a police team at Golapalli in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday.
They were not part of any planned operation, police said.
"The three men had stepped out of the camp to make calls from their cellular phones. They probably did not get proper reception on the camp premises. The Maoists must have watched them for a few days and then carried out the attack," reports said, quoting police.
