The condition of renowned Malayalam film actor Thilakan, who was admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on August 23 following a heart attack, continues to be critical, according to doctors attending on him.
Thilakan (74) was admitted to a hospital at Thrissur on August 21 after he collapsed during the shooting of a new film. He was then shifted to the hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
Hospital sources said besides having cardiac problems, Thilakan was suffering from pneumonia.
The actor has been put on ventilator since Friday, they said.
