Major fire breaks out in Pahalgam

A major fire broke out in the Tourist Reception Centre at Pahalgam resort in south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday but there were no immediate reports of any casualty or injury, police said.

"Fire broke out in the TRC building in Pahalgam and has spread to an adjacent hotel," a police spokesman said.

He said fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.

So far, there were no reports of anyone getting injured in the incident, he added.
