The witness to Madhumita Shukla's murder, Desraj, on Tuesday identified Prakash Chander Pandey as the person who killed her at her Paper Mill Colony residence in Lucknow on May 9, 2003.
Pandey, arrested on Monday, was produced before Desraj, who was Shukla's servant, at Unnao Jail in Uttar Pradesh, sources said.
Desraj said Pandey had come to her residence along with Santosh Kumar Rai.
The servant has already identified Rai, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation on November 6.
The CBI has alleged that Pandey had pulled the trigger. It is now trying to find out the weapon used to kill her.
