Some ministers in the outgoing Manmohan Singh Cabinet are in touch with Team Narendra Modi, pleading that there should be no "political witch-hunt" by the new regime.

These ministers, whose acts of omission and commission led to controversies, have found "friends" who are considered close to Modi.

Assurances are reportedly being given, but those who know Modi's mind feel such 'assurances' have little weight or meaning.

'PM' Modi, these Modi-watchers argue, will go about cases of corruption in "clinical" fashion.

In other words, none of those found guilty will be spared.

Little wonder then that these ministers are praying for a hung House though the exit polls predict a landslide for Modi.
