The BJP displayed an undated picture, purportedly showing Rahul, to hit back at Congress which on Monday had released pictures of Narendra Modi purportedly with Afroz Fatta, a hawala operator.

Following the release of the images, BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi said politicians cannot escape being photographed with anybody as they are in public life. “But how will you explain this?” she asked while showing the photograph in which Rahul is with Asif. “The way Rahul is riding pillion on the bike, do we assume that they are good friends and Rahul is responsible for whatever Billa has done,” Lekhi said.
Since Sunday, both the parties have been involved in a war of CDs, after the BJP released a CD on Robert Vadra’s land deals on Sunday.
