President A P J Abdul Kalam presented the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva during a cermony in New Delhi on Monday.
Lula arrived in India with a large business delegation to forge closer "strategic" and trade ties between the two emerging powerhouses.
