The leaders wore traditional Vietnamese 'ao dai' silk tunics over their suits for the group photo. The traditional 'ao dai' includes a long tunic with slits up the sides.
President Hu will be arriving in India later on Monday for his maiden visit. The past week, China has made controversial claims over the state of Arunachal Pradesh, while Tibetans in India have protested the visit.
