S M Krishna on Monday took oath as the new governor of Maharashtra at the Raj Bhavan. A veteran Congress politician, Krishna was until recently the chief minister of neighbouring Karnataka. He takes over from Mohammed Fazal, whose activism made him a controversial figure.
