"Lalu Prasad acted as 'Duryodhan' and 'Kans' for his own caste Yadav and also minority Muslims who made him a powerful leader," Pappu Yadav who founded the Jan Adhikar Party after his expulsion from RJD told reporters reacting to Lalu Prasad's remarks against him.
"Being a descendant of Lord Krishna, I would fight against the Duryodhan and Kansh," Yadav, Lok Sabha member from Madhepura, who has launched a scathing attack at his former mentor after being expelled from RJD, said.
The RJD President while attacking Pappu Yadav who has formed JAP, as well as, leaders of the Hindustani Awam Morcha had compared them with "Mir Jafar and Jai Chand" who have crossed over to destructive forces.
The Madhepura MP sought to correct Lalu Prasad. “Since he was thrown away from the RJD by Prasad, he could be Mir Kasim and not Mir Jafar or Jai Chand,” he said.
The JAP founder accused Lalu Prasad of working against his own caste men to promote the interest of his family.
"For the sake of family interest he threw out not only me, but also Ramkripal Yadav, Ranjan Yadav, Nawal Kishore Yadav and Awadh Bihari Chaudhary among others from the party," he said.
Using strong word against Lalu Prasad, Pappu Yadav called him "politically illiterate", but hailed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as "political visionary" and expressed surprise over their coming together.
Pappu Yadav also disapproved Rashtriya Lok Samata Party state President Arun Kumar's vitriolic against Nitish Kumar.
