Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee on Tuesday took serious exception to contents of the report on the MPs Local Area Development fund scam being published in newspapers.
He said: "This is the grossest type of breach of privilege of Parliament. I am very sorry to say that the contents of this report have come out in the papers," he said in Lok Sabha.
"I hope in the future all of us would be more circumspect in this matter. This is a matter of great sorrow for me," Chatterjee said.
He added: "Whoever is responsible has not done credit either to himself or to this great institution."
