The Supreme Court on Friday refused to stay the order allowing extradition of Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, accused in rape and murder case of British teenager Hannah Foster, to the United Kingdom.

Kohli had challenged the order of the magistrate and the Delhi High Court on his extradition issue.

A bench headed by Justice G P Mathur declined to entertain his petition saying that he can approach the high court for the review of the order.

The bench was not impressed by the argument that Kohli will not get a fair trial in the United Kingdom as there was a bias against the Asian communities.

His counsel also mentioned the case of Indian doctor Mohammed Haneef, who has been charged with recklessly supporting a terror group, in Australia.
