Alleging that there is no 'opposition' left in the country, activist Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said he will sit on a dharna outside the residence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal to protest the police action against his supporters there.

He alleged people were 'beaten up very badly' in Bhopal while protesting against corruption by Chouhan.

"Is there any difference between the United Progressive Alliance in Centre and the Bharatiya Janata Party in MP? Same character, same arrogance of power, same corruption and same oppression," he said in a statement.

Kejriwal and his supporters were detained when they marched to the residences of the prime minister and Congress and BJP chiefs on the issue of coal block allocation with police using teargas and water cannons to disperse them.

"How can people tolerate this? 24 people, including 5 women, formally arrested by MP govt. They are in Central jail. Their crime -- they raised their voice against corruption by MP chief minister.

"I will also commit the same crime on Tuesday- raise voice against his corruption. Sit on dharna outside his residence n offer myself for arrest," he said ina tweet. In other tweets, he alleged there was no opposition left in this country and all parties were hand in glove with theĀ  Congress.

"The political alternative started by Anna, though wud be a party under law, but it wud be a political revolution in practice. This political revolution would sweep the whole country in times to come," he said.
