Rahul, Sonia, PM to campaign in BJP bastions in K'taka

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will hit the campaign trail in poll bound Karnataka at Bellary, Raichur and Bijapur on April 23.

His mother Congress president Sonia Gandhi will campaign at Gulbarga and Belgaum on April 30.

Rahul Gandhi will travel extensively throughout the state and will also hold election rallies at Kolar, Tumkur and Haveri on April 28.

On April 26, Sonia will campaign at Chickmagalur and Mangalore.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would also address rallies in Hubli and Bangalore on April 29. On May 2, Sonia will campaign at Mysore and Bangalore.

The Congress leaders have been handpicked to campaign in areas which have been Bharatiya Janata Party strongholds and the party expects to make inroads into these constituencies.
