Over 1,900 detonators found in poll-bound K'taka

The Central Industrial Security Force has recovered over 1,900 detonators from Kolar district ahead of the Karnataka elections to be held on May 5.

The detonators believed to be used by local gangs were seized from a bus at the Baipelly checkpost in Kolar district. The bus, according to the CISF, was coming from Pummur in Andhra Pradesh.

The security staff conducted a routine check only to find a huge number of detonators. They say that 1983 denoators were found. Investigations are on.
